As a world renowned authority on water issues, Serageldin chaired the Water Futures and Solutions 2 nd Scenarios Focus Group Meeting of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) held in Laxenburg, Austria on 19-21 June. IIASA water research scholars held extensive dialog with the Scenario Focus Group (SFG) of the Water Futures and Solutions Initiative, a representative group of water policy and planning decision makers at the national and international level. Serageldin gave a presentation entitled “Water Security Pathways Presentations”.
