Serageldin will be giving two lectures at Beirut Arab University (BAU) this week. The first lecture to be held at 6 pm on 14 September, will be on the topic of “Arab Civilization: From Current Crises to Future Horizons” and will be open to the public. The second lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence Comes of Age: The Third Global Revolution Takes Off” will be held at 10 am on 15 September and will be addressed to BAU students.
During his visit, Serageldin will also participate in a meeting of the BAU Board of Trustees of which he is a member.
It is worth mentioning here that Serageldin was awarded Honorary Doctor of Arts by the BAU in 2009.
