Ismail Serageldin visited South Valley University in Qena and delivered two lectures to a full audience of university professors and students. Serageldin’s first lecture was: the BA’s role as a cultural institution. He then spoke about the future of science and knowledge in the 21st century and highlighted the technological and scientific advancements particularly in the fields of information technology and biotechnology. Following the lectures, students, faculty and other guests participated in a lively question and answer session. The South Valley University was provided with a complete set of BA publications.
