He will also contribute as speaker and rapporteur at three of the five sessions of the Regional Climate Change (RCC) Conference on Developing an International Framework for Regional Climate Change Impact Assessments Designed to Support Local Action, which is a special adjunct session of the STS forum Meeting this year. The forum annually gathers top policymakers, business leaders, scientists, researchers, media leaders and Nobel laureates from all over the world, to address science and technology issues in the 21st century. Its aim is to build a human network, of a very broad a range of participants and organizations, that would, in time, resolve the new types of problems stemming from the application of science and technology.
